How do I adjust the tension on my holster?
For inside the waistband holsters, there are two screws next to the trigger guard or light if lightbearing which adjust retention.  If you ordered an outside the waistband, there is one retention screw under the trigger guard or next to the light if light bearing. Add Loctite or another type of thread locker before you adjust your retention for added security. Set it and forget it.

Will a kydex holster scratch my gun?
This is a big question in this industry and to be honest we find it kind of funny.  Kydex will not scratch your gun.  After heavy use by drawing from a holster of ANY material which is not cleaned of debris, your gun's finish will show signs of wear.  A gun is a tool, tools become worn after heavy use.

How do I clean my holster?
A wet wash cloth will work just fine.

Questions

What does your name/logo represent?
41 Tactical is derived from the United States Marine Corps where 0341 represents an infantry (03) mortarman (41).  Our logo is the symbol that is used on a map to signify a mortar team (60mm mortar specifically).

I don't see my gun/light listed on your website, do you have it?If it is not listed on here, we do not carry the mold for your gun and or light model.  Now, that doesn't mean we never will, however, if you send us what gun/light model you have we can add it to our wish list. By telling us what you gun/light you have we can keep track of how many people have requested the same and make adjustments to our mold inventory.

What is a concealment claw?
A concealment claw attaches to outside of the holster.  It allows a user’s belt to apply additional leverage by rotating the holster and the grip of the gun towards the user’s body, creating better concealment and less user “printing” of the firearm and holster.

Do you do special prints?
The short answer is yes.  If you contact us with your request, we ask that you provide a clear image that has a transparent background.  If you don't know if it's transparent, just send it to us and we will check for you.  Ordering special prints takes time as our special prints are made in California and we are located in New Jersey, so add at least a week or two to your lead time.

Returns

How do I return my holster?
Due to the holsters being hand crafted to your specifications, all sales are final. However if there are ANY issues with your holster, please visit our Contact Page.

Shipping

What is your lead time?
This depends.  Usually less than a week but sometimes if it is a special print you request (by contacting us), it could take two weeks or a bit more.

What carrier do you use for shipping?
We currently use USPS for all shipping.  This is the cheapest option for you and us and we have had few issues with USPS except during peak holiday season, which all mail carriers have issues during those times.  The issues have only been how long the package is in transit, not lost in transit (which obviously can happen but hopefully not).
